PADI Scuba Diver Course

The PADI Scuba Diver course is a less intensive introductory certification than an Open Water certification.  The Scuba Diver certification, you enable you to dive to 12 meters maximum depth under the direct supervision of a scuba Instructor.  If your time in Krabi is limited or you’re not planning to dive deeper than 12 meters  or you prefer to always go diving guided by a Padi professional, the Scuba Diver course should be your preferred choice.  It lasts two days and comprises a mix of classroom theory, pool practice, and two open water dives.  Upon completion, you will be handed a certification card which lasts for life.

Price: 10,900 THB  (plus National Park fee of 600 THB)

Day 1:

Morning – Free pickup from your accommodation and transfer to Sea Gypsy Divers.  You will meet your Instructor and get an introduction to scuba theory in the classroom.  You will complete Knowledge Reviews and Quizzes to ensure your understanding of the lesson.

Afternoon – You will practice skills in the swimming pool with your Instructor until skilled.

Day 2:

Free pickup in the morning from your accommodation and transfer to the boat pier for a full day on boat (7:30am – 5:30pm) to Koh Phi Phi.  You will complete two open water dives (maximum depth 12 meters) under the close supervision of an Instructor.  Breakfast, lunch, snacks, soft drinks and water are included.
