The fabulous Phi Phi Islands are only 45 minutes away from Krabi by speed boat. We’ll stop on the way at two less visited spots for snorkelling, Bamboo Island and Hin Klarng. Free time in Tonsai Bay for lunch, shopping and relaxing is followed by an unforgettable tour of Phi Phi Ley, incl. scenery made famous by Leonardo Dicaprio’s film “The Beach”.
Maya Bay is absolutely one of the most charming places in the Andaman Sea: a white long stretch of sand accessible trough a narrow gateway between the high rock’s wall of Phi Phi Ley Island. Although the beach is now closed to the public to preserve its marine life, we will anchor at the entrance of Maya Bay for a glimpse of its beauty.
The Pileh Lagoon, with its massive limestone cliffs and emerald waters is the second highlight of the day. Entering the bay feels like cruising in a Norwegian fjord, only with tropical fish and mangroves all around you.
Upon arrival in Bamboo Island, time to relax on the white sandy beach or to explore the coral reef and the colourful fishes. This island is the most north-easterly of the Phi Phi archipelago, and almost shaped as a heart, entirely surrounded by a strip of white sand. Close to the beach, in shallow waters, Bamboo island is almost entirely surrounded by the reef that spreads up to 500 meters from the shore.
Arrival in Phi Phi Islands.
The first stop in Phi Phi Island is Lohsamah Bay which offers a beautiful setting for snorkelling and taking photos to the small green island in the Andaman sea. You can swim among the fish without diving deep. Then we move to Pileh Bay, the stunning lagoon with crystal clear water that is located on the other side of Maya Bay. The scenery is so impressive that you won’t want to leave.
Arrival in Maya Bay.
We stop at the mouth of the world famous Maya Bay to take pictures with the beach in the background. Maya Bay is now closed to tourism, therefore nobody is allowed to set foot on the beach, however we will enjoy the stunning view of its turquoise water and limestone cliffs from a short distance.
We move to Phi Phi Don where we enjoy a great buffet lunch in a restaurant, then relax on the beach.
When we reach the pier at Nopparattara, our staff will take care of all the transfer back to the hotels.
